29 athletes earn summer mileage shirts

29 athletes and three coaches earned summer mileage shirts at a short ceremony before practice Sunday, Aug. 26. In total, nine earned shirts for running between 350-399 miles, four ran between 400-499, three between 450-499, and 16 ran 500+ miles during the summer. Sam Moreno had the most mileage of the girls at 528.9, while Ben Tholen's 539.5 led the boys and the entire team. 

Runners awarded shirts for 300 miles this summer included Nicholas Kieffer (390.5 miles), Jack Stillmunkes (350), Andrew Cox (381), Kailey Regas (375) Victoria Crawford (364.87), Ana Penland (350.78), Natalie Penland (355), Nuria Pugh (374.7) and Coach Stillmunkes (350.75). 

Runners awarded shirts for 400 miles included Nicholas Clever (416.75), Jack Brucher (435.1), Nicole Greyer (432.7) and Coach Muth (414.5). 

Runners awarded shirts for 450 miles included Austin Popplewell (463.5), Jack Brucher (476.5) and Coach Long (450.25).

Runners awarded shirts and hats for running 500 miles or more this summer included Ben Tholen (539.5), Austin Hunter (511), Alex Loos (516.25), Jackson Edwards (500.1), Tyler Black (500), Colin Kachlic (506), Ivan Westcott (514), Corey Kramer (502), Sara Klemm (526.5), Olivia Borowiak (525.9), Sam Moreno (528.9), Helena Kleronomos (525.9), Emily Eberhart (502.3), Mady Klebenow (521.4), Kailey Fox (518.3) and Nicki Verguera (511.9).
